Kuala Lumpur Travel Diary

Knowing that one can travel via bus to Malaysia from Singapore, we decided to have a quick side trip to Kuala Lumpur. It is a very short trip, it was over as quickly as it began, but nonetheless a very memorable one. We started the day at the  Old town - the core of Kuala Lumpur where you will find the former colonial admistrative centre. I was amused with the Mosque, museums and the old structures.

And what would a trip to Malaysia's capital be without gawking at the grand Petronas Towers! I was really smitten with this twin skyscrapers. Majestic by day and dazzling by night. The pictures do not give justice to how beautiful and splendid it is in actual. It has left me in utter wonderment.

Another highlight of this trip was the search for 'The Chocolate Kingdom' where you can buy Beryl's - the best chocolate in town. You have no idea what Jernold and I have to go through just to get here. A bit exciting yet scary adventure but totally worth it!
And if you are up for more shopping you may visit the Pavillion Mall and the Central Market.

And if you wish to visit KL, I suggest you stay at 'Backhome' hostel. Such a good and relaxing place.
Even though it was short but sweet, my first trip to Malysia will always be remembered.
